IXPE -Cross-linked Polyethylene foam, is a type of foam material created by chemically or physically (using methods like peroxide crosslinking or radiation crosslinking) connecting linear High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) molecules. This crosslinking process imparts several advantageous properties to IXPE:
